Lead the Way

Start planning now for National Nurses Week, May 6-12, 2014.

The ANA announced Nurses Leading the Waythis year’s theme, Nurses Leading the Way. Though National Nurses Week is still a few months away, you can start planning now to have a brunch, banquet, prayer walk, or other special event to share God’s love with other nurses.

Discuss with your group or form a committee to plan an event. Decide what is do-able for a speaker, food, facility, or advertising. Will this be an event that is seeker-friendly? Pray about what God will have you do. This is a great way to fulfill your group’s purpose of reaching out to others in the nursing community.

NCF will again provide a theme-related Bible study guide and prayer guide for you to use. We will send these resources in the next issue of Vital Signs.

New Resources for Nurse Educators

Campus Ministry BlogAre there nurse educators in your NCF group? Because they have limitless opportunities to influence the knowledge-base and character of future leaders in nursing, NCF has compiled resources to provide networking opportunities with other faculty, to encourage the pursuit of Christian scholarship, and to provide resources, support and spiritual inspiration for their journey in academia. Please share these resources with the members of your group.
