Fall Survey: Due December 1st!

It's that time of year, time to fill out the fall survey. As a reminder, two times a year we gather information about how to serve you and keep our records up to date. It is required to remain an active NCF chapter, but more importantly, it gives us a snapshot of what God is doing around the country in NCF student chapters. Thank you for taking 5 to 10 minutes and filling it out before December 1st. 

Don’t Forget About Affiliation this Year

Affiliation with Nurses Christian Fellowship/InterVarsity Christian Fellowship connects a local chapter with the national movement. The affiliation process occurs annually and may be completed using this online affiliation form. 

There are a number of benefits of affiliation with NCF/InterVarsity including:

  • Credibility: Campus administrators, faculty, and students look more favorably on a chapter that is affiliated with a reputable national organization.

  • Scholarships: Scholarship opportunities for attendance at gatherings such as NCF regional/national conferences and the Urbana missions conference.

  • Branding: Permission to use the NCF/InterVarsity logo or a school-specific, NCF-designed logo.

  • Coming Soon: Honor cords/tassels will be back in stock for you to order for your graduating seniors!

Introducing Katharine: Here for You!

We are welcoming a new teammate to the NCF Student ministries team. Meet Katharine! You will be hearing from her as well as myself in the upcoming weeks.

Hello, I’m Katharine Provost! While I grew up in a Christian home, it was not until after I had kids that I discovered the difference between just going to church and having faith that is based on a relationship with God, which has been life-changing. From there, He continued to open my eyes to what Hebrews 10:24-25 looks like as we “spur one another on toward love and good deeds” and I felt called to work with groups. I know that by building that foundation of faith and community early, we can help future nurses increase biblical self-care and decrease burn-out. I feel truly blessed for this opportunity to take my passion for spiritual growth through groups to come alongside NCF faculty advisors and student leaders doing God’s work with nursing students, planting seeds in the fertile ground of student ministries. I would love to hear from you about your NCF journey and how I can help equip you and spur you on!

Ambition 2021

Attend to gain vision and ideas for your context.

  • As you begin planning for the second semester, our online resources are still available.

  • Coaching is always available for you in 30 minute segments. Email ncf@intervarsity.org to sign up for a time slot. 

  • Faculty Prayer is happening through the end of the semester led by NCF Staff Skip McDonald. Join us every Friday at 12:30 EST/11:30 CST/10:30 MST/9:30 PST on Zoom.
