Urbana Conference

DESCRIPTION: Join NCF at Urbana! Urbana 2025 is a unique opportunity to grow in your faith, leadership skills and vision for God's global mission. Come and spend time worshiping God, learning how he is at work across the globe and how you can participate in His mission! Spend New Years with us and discover potential callings!

Pennsylvania Refresh Retreat

DATE:  February 1st, 2025 10am - 5pm EDT

LOCATION: York, PA

DESCRIPTION: Where do you go to be refreshed? Join us for a day away as a nursing student community (faculty, volunteers, and professionals are welcome as well). We know if can be really hard to take a day off from work or studying. But Jesus invites us to be renewed and refreshed as we spend time on what matters most - loving God and loving one another. No matter your spiritual/religious background, you are welcome here and this space is for you.

Journal Club: Empathy, The Gift of Connecting

DATE:  February 20th, 2025 at 7 pm Central

LOCATION: Online

DESCRIPTION: Nursing is a profession of caring – not always easy to do with the many constraints we encounter in our practice. Join us as we discuss how to incorporate empathy into the care of others through the challenges we face and the reality of the empathy we also experience from God.

Saline Process Witness Training

DATE:  Spring 2025 dates are coming soon!

LOCATION:  Online

DESCRIPTION:  The purpose of the Saline Process™ witness training is to equip nurses (and other healthcare workers) to be witnesses for Christ in their clinical settings. The Biblically-based teaching is relevant to different cultures and healthcare settings. Nurses Christian Fellowship is partnering with Saline Process™ to deliver virtual trainings. 

After completing the Saline Process, participants should be able to assess a patient's attitude toward Christ and know how to respond appropriately, applying the ethical principles of permission, sensitivity and respect.

NCF Texas Refresh Retreat

DATE: March 21 - 23, 2025

LOCATION:  Camp Gilmont - Gilmer, TX

DESCRIPTION: Nurses Christian Fellowship Texas invites nurses, educators, students, and healthcare professionals to take time away from the busyness of life. Our speaker is Debbie Stuart, the Green Acres Baptist Church Women’s Minister in Tyler, Texas. She has served in women’s ministry for 32 years, https://greenacreswomen.org/people/debbie-stuart/. Please join us as we explore replenishing our hearts with Christ’s presence and learning to delight in Him and to depend on His spiritual resources and His word for our daily living.

NCF Illinois CLN, Inc.

LOCATION:  Illinois and Online

DESCRIPTION: Collaboration of Licensed Nurses, Inc. is an Illinois chapter of Nurses Christian Fellowship. CLN, Inc. advances NCF's mission to uniquely transform the nursing profession through biblically grounded communities and effective faith sharing by focusing on soft skill enhancement. We’ll also be discussing Kathleen D. Pagana’s book, Etiquette & Communication Strategies for Nurses, during each meeting in 2024.  It is not necessary for you to purchase or read the book to join us every other month. 

  • Wednesday, December 18 & Saturday, December 21: Communication: Critical for Problem Solving. Chapter 15 of Etiquette & Communication Strategies for Nurses will be discussed and the book summarized.

DESCRIPTION:  This is an online course to help prepare you to engage in global health ministries. In this course, you'll find greater clarity about God's calling for your life, learn about global healthcare missions, how to prepare for missions, and how and where to connect with mission-sending ministries.
