Nursing Students

Like many nursing students, my academic life was driven by perfectionism—and it affected my spiritual life as well.

It's mid-semester, and students are stressed with exams, clinicals and self-doubt. NCF chapters provide a safe place to be vulnerable.

I love my job as a nurse but I have another passion--walking with nursing students as they meet Jesus and follow him.

A nurse educator reflects on a clinical rotation where students experienced the death of a patient.

Strawberry boxIt’s funny how two people can see the same object in very different ways. When I see an empty strawberry container, I see plastic that should be tossed into a recycling bin. When my seven-year-old son sees that same container, he sees the frame for a Viking ship that he will build with pipe cleaners, paper, and lots of tape.

Psalm 1On a recent trip to California, I was driving down a narrow road flanked by giant trees. They were magnificent--so big, so green, so full of life! These trees reminded me of Psalm 1:3. I wanted my life to be like a tree that is healthy, vibrant, and fruitful.

We are developing two significant resources for NCF student leaders.
