What's Vital? (12 Week Series)

In nursing school and in your nursing practice, you will be learning new skills and relating to others who
are different from you. We hope you will also be growing in your spiritual journey. These 12 Bible
studies are designed to guide you as you grow personally and professionally. Each Bible study follows
the Discipleship Cycle: Hear the Word by discussing the Scripture, Respond Actively by applying the
Scripture internally and/or externally, Debrief and Interpret the application during the next meeting.

How does a Christian nurse differ from any other nurse? Take a look at Colossians
3:1-15 for insights on what makes followers of Jesus unique.

Called to Nursing Care

Stress in the Life of a Nursing Student

You can look almost anywhere in Scripture and see stressors in
the lives of people in the Bible. Jesus was no exception to that, so let’s look at how Jesus handled stress
in Mark 1:21-39.

Feeling overwhelmed, stressed, and tired? How can God meet our needs? Take a look at
how God interacted with Elijah in 1 Kings 19:1-14.

Compassion Fatigue
