Leadership

Evaluate, Assess and Plan

Thank you for your leadership this semester! God has placed you in your position for a reason. He wants to use you!

Evaluate, Assess and Plan

As the first semester wraps up, ask your student leadership team to evaluate what worked well for your group, what didn't work, and what can be adjusted for next semester. Pray and ask God to guide you in living as his witnesses on campus. Plan next semester's Bible studies, regular prayer times and potential speakers. Work on these things during break so your ministry has a strong start when school resumes in 2015.

Evangelism

Nursing SchoolNursing School is Your Mission Field

Prayer is foundational to any mission. Are you encouraging the students in your chapter to pray for their unsaved classmates?  Ask God to use every member of the chapter to make a difference in each one's relationship networks. Look here for more resources on how your clinical group is a strategic place to represent Jesus.

Discipleship

StressStress Busters

As the semester winds down, stress often ramps up. Remember to nurture one another in this stressful time of exams, projects, final clinical hours, and preparing for holiday travel. Some members of your NCF group may say they are too busy to attend, but we heard from one student who said that increased stress actually motivated her to seek out the NCF community.

Scripture encourages us to pray for one another's needs, encourage and lift one another up, and bear one another's burdens. Consider providing an outlet for studying with an Exam Cram where everyone brings a snack and studies at a central location or nearby home. Have a periodic break for a short devotional, Scripture reading, prayer, or short testimony. Be creative! Check out the NCF Bible study, Stress in the Life of a Nursing Student, and invite your friends to study with you.
