Vision
NCF has played a large part in my personal spiritual development. I have appreciated the emphasis on Bible study, fellowship, and outreach that I experienced while leading an NCF group during college, and during numerous NCF conferences I have participated in as a professional nurse.
I spent over two decades in health and church planting work in Haiti and Senegal. I am excited to now be in ministry through editing work with the Journal of Christian Nursing (JCN). My hope is that through JCN many nurses may be encouraged and grow in walking out their Christian faith in both their professional and personal lives. I also desire for JCN to be known for its excellence among professional journals, that our work for the Lord through the journal would be a light to the world not only in the content that points to our hope in Jesus, but also in how we conduct ourselves as followers of Christ and how we present the journal materials with the highest of standards.
Personal
I am married with a precious teenage stepson and live in Fort Kent, Maine. Prayer and Bible study are my food for life; I do best when I get a balance of doing those alone as well as with others. I feel closest to God in nature, so I’m in a good spot where I can regularly ski, snowshoe, canoe, sail, and hike, depending on the season.
