God was with Jen Wojtysiak, NCF Student Ministries Director, and Kathy Schoonover-Shoffner, NCF Executive Director, in incredible ways during their Planting Blitz Trip recently. Driving through southeast Virginia, they visited 12 nursing schools in 5 days!
Jen & Kathy had great conversations with faculty and students--some planned, some spontaneous. They heard stories of struggle and encountered new friends who were excited to discover NCF. So many "God moments" took place where they were in the right place at exactly the right time. One time, God even used a hair tie to initiate meaningful conversation with students and nursing school leaders.
God also met us at the Rejuvenate student retreat in Richmond, Virginia. Reflecting on the trip, Kathy said she and Jen felt like Paul and Barnabas on their first missionary journey (Acts 13:4) where the two were sent on their way by the power of the Holy Spirit.
NCF is now helping 8 Virginia schools open their doors to Bible study and Christian community! Support the nursing students and faculty in these schools by praying for them to know and follow Jesus.
