Fruitful Messaging

Jesus works through me in the workplace in modern day parables. I’m the co-lead for an employee resource group that has over 350 members. On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, I send out an encouraging message as food for thought, via Microsoft Teams. I intentionally take thoughts from my morning Bible studies at home and incorporate them for the workplace without mentioning Scripture.

It never fails that someone responds by sending me a private chat message to tell me how inspired or encouraged they are by my messages. By sending these encouragements consistently on three days per week, the door is then open to other believers to share with me about their faith in Jesus.

God’s faithfulness is sure. I want to bear good fruit. In Matthew 7:16-20, Jesus uses a metaphor about our lives, saying that a good tree produces good fruit and is recognizable to others because of this good fruit. This is a friendly reminder to me of how I want to represent myself in the workplace. My primary goal is to produce good fruit for the kingdom of heaven.
