To advance the purpose of InterVarsity (IVCF) and Nurses Christian Fellowship, this position will oversee publication (development, editing, production) of the Journal of Christian Nursing (JCN).

Main Education/Work Experience Qualifications: 

  • Graduate degree required (nursing preferred)
  • Current RN licensure in state of residence
  • 3-5 years of experience evaluating and/or using qualitative and quantitative research methodologies
  • 3-5 years of experience writing and editing scholarly content
  • 3-5 years of experience with computers and online systems/programs   
  • 3-5 years of experience in management and supervision

To advance the purpose of InterVarsity, this position will assist with procurement and editing of manuscripts and production of the Journal of Christian Nursing (JCN), and assist with publication of other NCF materials as requested.

Main Education/Work Experience Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (Nursing, Journalism, English, Communications, Media Arts are helpful majors)
  • Current RN license in state of residence
  • 3-5 years clinical nursing experience and/or in nursing education
  • 3-5 years of writing and editing experience
  • 3-5 years’ experience with computers, online systems/programs, and website editing

This is a volunteer position with Nurses Christian Fellowship to support Nursing Students on the campus at Bakersfield, CA. Currently the staff are constrained by the number of leaders for Bible studies and are looking for volunteers to help foster faith and community among the nursing students.

Nursing Education

Nursing Faculty at Messiah University, CT

In Person, Full-Time

The Department of Nursing in the School of Science, Engineering and Health at Messiah University invites applications for a full-time/term-tenure track or clinical track Nursing faculty position. 

Responsibilities:

  • Teaching in classroom and clinical nursing settings
  • Course responsibilities including: Adult and Older Adult, Critical Care, Foundations of Nursing Practice, Health Assessment, Historical and Conceptual Basis for Nursing, Pharmacology, and Pathophysiology
  • PhD or DNP candidates may have the opportunity to teach graduate level courses
  • Advising and institutional service responsibilities

Main Education/Work Experience Qualifications: 

  • Minimum of Master of Science degree in Nursing with appropriate clinical practice certifications
  • Doctoral degree in nursing highly preferred (PhD or DNP) or current enrollment in doctoral study
  • If not doctorally prepared, must commit to a plan to begin doctoral education within five years of hire
  • Graduate preparation in nursing education and certification in nursing education (CNE) highly preferred

Experiential Lab Coordinator at Hunt School of Nursing, NC

The Experiential Lab Coordinator has faculty status and all the rights and responsibilities pertaining to faculty within the Hunt School of Nursing. The Experiential Lab Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and administering campus laboratory experiences for students to support all nursing programs. The Experiential Lab Coordinator will collaborate with faculty to assure safe, effective simulation and laboratory activities. Additional responsibilities include maintaining an inventory of supplies, utilizing appropriate software applications and programming simulations, providing oversight of Student Lab Assistants, and serving as a student advisor. 

Main Education/Work Experience Qualifications: 

  • Minimum Bachelor's of Science in Nursing
  • Current unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina, a compact state, or be eligible for licensure in North Carolina
  • Minimum of two years employment in direct client care as a Registered Nurse
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Preferred experience in the program accreditation process
  • Preferred simulation certification
  • Simulation experience
