As the fall season begins, Nurses Christian Fellowship anticipates an exciting year ahead. Thank God for the great things happening in ministry to students and nurses across the nation!
- NCF is awarding $12,000 in Chapter Planting Grants to start 12 new NCF student groups at specific nursing schools. We are partnering with local InterVarsity Campus Staff Ministers to initiate new ministry with nursing students, using newly-created leadership tools and special coaching.
One grant recipient wrote, “Over the summer, two students expressed interest in starting a nursing small group. The harvest is already here and God is sending the laborers. The time is now for NCF to grow!”
This project has the potential to reach over a thousand more nursing students!
We created and sent out dozens of resource packets for New Student Outreach (NSO) to equip faculty advisors and student leaders to invite new students into the life of the NCF community on their campus.- Nurses and students will find help for practicing ethically in the outstanding feature articles of the new Journal of Christian Nursing fall issue.
- Nationwide video chats are beginning this month to connect NCF members. We’ll offer biblical insights, spiritual care training, and more topics to encourage our members!
- Final plans are coming together for the 2018 CANA Conference with Nurses Christian Fellowship International.
