Program Distinctives

The message has been consistent for years: There's a nationwide nursing shortage. In times like these, is it possible that the need for compassionate caregivers could be as high as ever? Undoubtedly. But the students of Indiana Wesleyan University's nursing programs aren't just looking for a job in health care. They want to be motivated by mentors willing to share their knowledge gained by years of practice. They expect a nursing program that offers an integrated educational experience, combining hard facts with hands-on learning. And by committing to changing the world with Christ-like kindness, our nursing degree graduates go a step beyond achieving success; they feel fulfilled. Nursing students at Indiana Wesleyan University will find that their expectations are not only met, but exceeded, when they are prepared to enter God's mission field as a nurse!

Whether you're an incoming freshman, a practicing professional or someone answering a new career calling, IWU offers nursing degree programs that prepare every student for service in venues ranging from hospitals to home health to the mission field.
