Leanne joined the NCF staff in January 2019 as a Marketing and Communications Manager. She brings over 10 years of marketing and design expertise to the NCF team and works with the team to improve and develop ways for NCF members to stay connected!
Vision
While not a practicing health care professional, Leanne has a heart for working with groups of people to bring them closer together and closer to God. Working in a secular environment can be very challenging. One may feel isolated in their beliefs, have pressure to compromise, or experience discouragement from the pressures of their job. NCF is a way to help encourage believers, and Leanne loves the opportunity to help provide and foster a community of nurses that can learn together and lean on one another for support. Her hope is that she can help members stay connected to one another and provide spaces for them to grow and learn as nurses though different communication efforts from NCF.
Personal
Leanne lives and works full-time in the Chicago suburbs, and has been in the area just shy of 10 years. While still an Ohioan at heart (go Buckeyes!), Leanne has found a home in the western suburbs. She leads a small group at her church and mentors college-aged women. When she's not working or at church, you’re most likely to find her out running, biking, or finding her next adventure.
