Grace’s life verse is Psalm 73: 28 “But as for me, it is good to be near God. I have made the Sovereign LORD my refuge; I will tell of all your deeds.”(NIV) She loves to tell stories about how God has worked in her life and through her work.

She is actively involved in the Small Groups ministry at Faith Christian Reformed Church in Elmhurst, IL where she is both on the leadership team and leads a small group.

Cooking and sharing her home with friends and family who pass through the Chicago area give her great joy. She is the aunt to a nephew and two nieces, one of whom is married and has given her three grand-nephews and one grand-niece. She and her mother, who lives nearby, enjoy dining out using discount coupons and two-for-one offers.

Trees and the outdoors provide refreshment and renewal. One of her favorite activities is walking in the Morton Arboretum.
