New Student Outreach is Underway!
Within the next three years, NCF is planning to double our presence from 100 to 200 campuses! To aid us in that growth, we have developed a step-by-step chapter planting guide called Start NCF. Whenever a nursing student or faculty member emails us to ask how to start a new NCF chapter, we immediately send them to Start NCF. The guide explains the mission and vision of NCF and walks them through how to develop a chapter launch team. From there, the guide talks about how to recruit students and contains a series of outlines for the first four NCF meetings. I love Start NCF because it takes the guesswork out of starting a group. We’re praying that this guide will empower many more students and educators to start NCF!
This fall, we will field-test Start NCF on different campuses. I think of Myriah, a nurse in Michigan, who will be using this resource with students she knows at a local nursing school. In the next few weeks, she will be working through the guide with her student launch team in preparation for a projected start date in October! We can’t wait to see how God will birth a new NCF chapter there!
⇒ Curious about the guide? Know someone who might be interested in starting an NCF student chapter? Visit ncf-jcn.org/startncf to download and share a free copy!
