ANTICIPATING NEW LEADERSHIP
This is an historic moment in the 75-year history of NCF and InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. We praise God that Kathy Schoonover-Shoffner will lead NCF beginning July 1 after I retire. Kathy is deeply devoted to God, to others, and to nursing, and she reflects caring compassion and professional excellence in all she does.
As NCF Director, Kathy will be part of the national leadership team of InterVarsity. InterVarsity will also have new leadership this year with the appointment of Tom Lin as the next President. Praise God for providing these highly qualified, godly leaders!
GROWING STUDENT MINISTRY
In the last 10 years, the number nursing students involved in InterVarsity ministry has increased 58%! Thank God for students who are growing as disciples of Jesus and who will serve him as nurses. We praise God for 26 new believers this year and look forward to increased opportunities to influence nursing students in the coming year.
INVESTING IN THE FUTURE
We need your prayer and financial support for more students and nurses to be impacted by the life-changing message of the gospel. We want to see more:
- Campus staff to equip students and faculty in biblical discipleship.
- Nurse scholars to join the Journal of Christian Nursing editorial team.
- Resources and opportunities for discipleship, Bible study, and spiritual care.
