2010 Parish Nurse Basic Preparation Course
Date: January 29 & 30, February 26 & 27, April 23 & 24, 2010 (Snow Date: Friday, April 9 & 10, 2010). Attendance at all sessions is required to obtain certificate and CE credit.

Content is presented from the Christian point of view and may be adapted for other faith traditions.
Target Audience: This certificate program is for actively licensed registered nurses.

Description:The purpose of this conference is to provide nurses with introductory knowledge and skills to provide competent, short-term missionary nursing care to underserved people in cross-cultural settings. The biblical perspective of missionary service will also be addressed.
Directions: Round Top, TX is on Hwy 237 south of Hwy 290, west of Brenham. Round Top Retreat Center is north of Round Top off Hwy 237. From Hwy 237, turn west on Jaster Rd. Go ½ mile and turn right on Krause Rd. Go ¼ mile and turn left on Andreas Rd. Go a short distance and turn right into the 2nd driveway. Drive next to the left side of the 2-story gray house to the 3-story Inn.
